Sorry if you got excited and thought I was acually writing something or posting pics but well im a bit of a slacker. well being back home is good, in Vancouver, surrey, British Colombia I like to go shopping on eBay and by magazines and books and music from itunes. The winter time is coming soon so I will be able to go snowboarding, I really cant wait for the snow to come, it will be great to snowboard, really the snow is get, snowboarding is the best thing in the world, yah for snowboarding, let it snow let it snow let it snow. Well right now im going to school learning web development its kinda neat. Well nothing much else to say just let it snow.

Hi there all, well im back home in good old surrey. Its been really nice to be back home and see old friends and find out what im supposed to be doing here. since ive been home its been super busy right from day one, seeing friends, working jobs, figuring out new plans, finding a new church just everything all at the same time, its pretty much crazy. but im getting more used to things around here again. well seeing as im back home ill be honest i probully wont update this near as much so ill say wait till about may before you check again and then ill try to get some pics of my fam and friends up here and just what goes down back at home. sweet deal ya'll.

These are just some photos we took with the SFC team, it was really great to have them here, and they all enjoying being here as well. God was really working through the SFC team and NORTHSTAR staff while we were all kinda connected for this week. we have seens lots of cool things taking place, we have had a few people saved and a bunch of people just getting closer to God and getting better understanding of him.

Here is a bunch of pics from the snowboard comp. It was really really good, we had about 120 people show up, maybe 40 people in the comp and then the rest just watching. Everyone that was there was really into it, and there was lots of cheering and laughter.

This week we have a team from SFC(snowboarders for Christ) here. Its been cool having them as I know most of them from just traveling around and running into them here and there so I already knew over half of the team before they were here. So good to have a few more friends always. Right now there on a SFC Japan tour going around to SFC groups and just helping them out where they can. The main reason they came to northstar is because we have a SFC camp with weekend and also on Saturday, tomorrow we are going a big snowboard comp so there here to help with that. We are hoping to have around 40 people come to compete in the comp and then others just watching. Bruce the leader of SFC Canada is going to give a testimony just after the finals and then we are going to have time to just chill out and give out prizes, so please pray for this time and also for the SFC team and for Northstar staff as well. Thanks you.

well so heres to put you in the photo looking mood. So after a day in the city attending a church where you dont understand anything said because its all in japanese and then after that you head off to a sushi bar for lunch. When this is finished you head to a electronic shop and lay down in a message chair, you have been looking forward to this all day as your heading is pounding from the migrain that has been running your day for the last 6 hours. as you lie down you shut your eyes and drift off to sleep, around 45 minutes later you are waken up but a sudden movement in the message chair and then are slightly confused of whats going on and where you are. you slowly snap back to whats going on and then start to stand and then carry on your day and walk down the street to grab a start bucks and begin the hour drive home.
So this is where these photos came from just a random day doing normal things.

Crazy card game WARNING VIOLENT CONTENT

Ok well i had to post this for all the students at yokohama international school as they invented the game and i would have to say its one of the most crazy dangerous painful card games i have ever been played. pretty much what you do it everyone starts with cards and you go around the circle and everyone gets a turn putting down a card and if duble ever show up you then try to grab the pile. sounds pretty easy and safe? well heres the catch, if any part of your body crosses over top of the table you are then open for anyone to hit you, also if you ever have your cards over the table they can be taken by anyone. So if you watch the video now the madness will make a little more sence to you all. So thanks to this great group of kids that are all super crazy and really enjoying making up there own games.

Well so it seems that things are going down hill at hatsuhana(my house here in japan) well so lattly have have gained another problume, we no longer have water. well acaully we sometimes have water but only for one minute at a time every hour or so. we will hear a load noise in the pipes and that mean that we will now have water for one minute so we rush to the bathroom and brush our teeth as fast as we can and then head off to bed.
So lets refresh the living condition im in
-first of very very cold, some times only 1c
-we must climb a large hill each time we want to go to our house, the hill is covered with ice
-we have not hot water
-we have NO water
-there is a ghost that lives there
-there are mice in the walls and they make lots of noise

well thats a quick sum up of how it is to live in Japan in a house where you dont pay rent.

Hey there all, we a bunch of us took a trip to tokyo to kill some time.
we have not had many snowboard camps this year and were starting to get board,
its still another week till we have another camp coming so we took off to tokyo for the
weekend. we stayed at our friends parents house and then just did a bunch of site seeing.
I have already seen all the sites but it was still fun to just show others around the area, and the
crazyness of the busy city.

Ok well today was a beutiful sunny day, and to make things a little bit nicer it was a day off for all of us staff. well we thought to our selfs how will we be spending this lovly day. After a few moment of quite though it was decided on that we should head down to motsumoto city so we could enjoy the action of king kong. well the advanture started normal with loading the van with people and starting down the curve road. there was a bit of anticipation in the air about being able to see some of the famous snow monkeys that live around are parts, so eyes were spred wide as we travelled down. The first monkey was spotted but the momvment of the car was to fast for all eyes to capture it, we entered a small emptyed lot and were able to make our van turn from its origianl path, we now were fallowing our trail and the van was listeain to anything that our eyes told us about monkeys, we slowly pulled over to the side as stampede of monkeys rushed across the road; our team was on hot pursuit as the door of the van rushed open and bodies were moving quick to the exit of the van. As we gazed from across the road at the fleeing wild life we notice it would be a fear filled misson to acually capture our wild life beast friends due to the fast moving 4 wheeled objects everywhere. At this point we saw our own defeat and we were shamed, with lowered head we reluctantly reloaded the van and move back to our original course to motsumoto.

town in japan and we live very close to everyone we live with and we normally have nothing to
do, so what do you do when you have nothing to do? you just go crazy pretty much. so take
a look below and enjoy some wonderful pics.

so ive gotten board of shaving and the beard is growing, you find out new things when you
have long facial hair, like how snow sticks to your face when you snowboard and it acually
keeps you warmer then normal.

Ok well we held a bunch of partys during these lovely holidays, on the 25th we had a small
gathering for christmas with just some of the local crew, it was the very first time meeting
most of these people but it was a good and crazy night, then we held another party on the 31th
to bring in the new year, the night was filled with games, crazyness, eating and funky dancing.

ok my goodness so this is now the 3ird time ive try to update this thing.
the other two times it didnt work b/c i updated my other site witch is a bad
things b/c now i have to go fix all that work, arg. well ok back at it i guess.
well sorrey i havent been updating much but i just havent had much time and i
have been taking many pics either. kinda got over pics, but i think ill try to start
taking more again so ill acually have some. well these are about all my pics so i just
put them all up. well at the moment im working on my plans for the next bit and as it
looks i might be taking off to australia in a little while if visa and plan flights all work out
and if they dont, then ill just stay here in NZ so we'll see what happends in the next few weeks.

Hi there sorrey for not updating my site offten i just havent had any good pics to put up and dont have to to much to say. Just a little up date since ive been in NZ i have either been sick or injured with a hip issues but i am now getting healthy and i am going to physio for my hip and hope to be up and runny fully in a few weeks. Hey there all of you that take a peek at my page now and then. Well i have arrived in NZ safly and i am doing good. It took me around 60 hours to get down to Wanaka, the flights all went really well and i enjoyed just sitting there and watching a few movies. When i arrived in Christchurch it was 11AM and i found out that the only bus that goes to wanaka leave at 10:50AM so i ended up staying in the airport for 24 hours, it was quit boaring and also very hard to sleep but i managed ok.
So i finally made it down to Wanaka and then called up james one of my new roomates and he came and picked me up, the house that i am living in is very beutiful and very big as well. we have lots and lots of land around us as well. For you that dont really know anything about Wanaka its super super small town, a very neat town though as right now everyone that lives in this town is a ski bumm. Once the seassons starts and you meet people you will know everyone in the town almost.
As far as the church plant goes, right now were going over our purpose for planting a church here and our goals and ways that we plan on doing it, We are also waiting for the rest of the team to come down for help before we start doing out reaches and such. Coming up this saterday we are getting togeather will all the churches in Wanaka and we are hold a 24 hour prayer time for the city and the people that will be coming into the town this year. So if you wish to join us in that that would be great.
Oh yeah, i also have got a job already, witch is really good b/c some people have been here for 2 months and still do not have jobs and i have only been here for 5 days and already have work, i am starting on the 27th of this month and am working at a spa resort kinda of thing, i will be doing house keeping cleaning jobs.

All these pics are just of my new home in NZ, its a really large
house and really nice. Only draw back is its pretty cold sometimes
but apperanly that normal in NZ, also was a thing in Japan, i dont get
these places. But right now im living with only 4 other people and we
have another 4 coming soon. Each weekend though our house is pretty full
last weekend there wsa 20 people living here, pretty wild

for 23 hours for the next bus to come so i could get down to the town im living in.

This was a few weeks ago we went for a hike to get some snowboard runs it,
we hiked up to 3000 meters. I took a long time and lots of energy but it was pretty

Hey all, well i thought i would let everyone know that i have gotten a house in New Zealand now. My house will be kinda a crazy place as there will be around 12 or more people living there at all times and it is also going to be the base for the church that were are going to get started up there. Hey there all,
well im back at my home in Japan now, after a good holiday. It was very fun to be traveling around and getting sometime off work. I was able to meet up with lots of people that i have met through working at northstar and was also able to stay in friends houses while on my trip. I spent only a few days in Osaka and then went off to tokyo, i spent a week there just checking things out and having fun. I saw all the popular places and experianced riding the train system there, very crazy if you have ever thought that the sky train in vancouver or the train in calgary is hard go to tokyo. I also got the chance to go to a Japanese rock show and on saterday night i went to a church that was having a youth gathering, i was really cool for me to see so many Japanese people praising God. Also that night there was 3 people that commited there lifes to Christ.
Well now im back at north star and the snow has mostly melted, and we are preparing for our mountain biking season. We already have a camp coming this friday so if you could just pray that we will be ready to go hard again. Thanks tons all.

Hey there all, well me and a few friends are going to be taking off for a little holiday. We are going to go down to Osaka and visit a friend of our and visit a few nice cities like kyoto. we will be there for 4 days and then we will be going to tokyo for a week. Im really looking forward to this holiday as its been awhile since we got anytime off and we are all very tried and its going to be great time for us all to get our energy back so we will be ready to work when we get back.

The other night we had a big thank you party for all the locals in the area where we live. Most people head home for the summer time as the snow is gone and most people just live here for the winter season so we just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the work that they put into the community. We had about 40-50 people show up. we did some snowboarding out side in out back yard and then everyone came in for soup and sushi and drinks. While we were eating a girl yuko shared her testimony to everyone witch was really cool b/c most of these people have never heard about God at all before. After the testemony time we just hung out and talk with everyone and just played games. Please pray for these people as some of them we have been able to make great connections with over the winter season and have been able to share tons of what we belive with them but now they are all heading home. please pray that God will put other people in there lives where to live to continue that work that has been started.

Well today i was in a boardercross compation that was heald at our local mountain, we normally go in them to show north stars support for the mountain and to also get to meet other locals in our community. Me and my friend Seth went in the comp and Seth placed first and i placed second so we did pretty good.

I just want to update you about the people you have been praying for. we have a worship night every thursday night if we are not busy and lattly we have had many non believers coming out and really enjoying it. Tonight we had 3 people come and one girl that became a christian last year shared her testimony and it really impacted the other 3, even to tears. So it is very visable that God is moving right now and i would ask you to contine to pray for kyo, naho, hiro, magumi and hanna. Thank you for your prayers and me these interested people come to know the lord in his time.

Hi there, well i just wanted to ask you all if you could pray for a few things. one is health for me and the rest of northstar staff as many of us are fun down with colds and its making us all very tried. Also we have been having great conntact with a group of local kids and last night we were able to share pretty much everything we believe, we have them all thinking and were hoping that there salvation with come very soon. some of these people have been working though things for two years. pray specifically for Kyo and myumi as they are very very interested and just need to take the next step.

Today we had a sweet snowboard comp in our back yard park, it was co sponsored with a local shop called blue line. we had about 60 rides come. we started the day at about 12 and went up to the mountain and road for awhile in the park up there and then we came back to our house at about 4ish and start the comp in our yard. it was lots of fun for everyone and there were lots of good trick going on. it also was a great way for us to connect more with the japan snowboard community. i will post pics when i get the chance to.
